TScribe is clinical dictation for radiologists and sonographers. You speak the findings; TScribe returns a structured, formatted report in your own template in under a minute, and gets it into your records system. It is operated by UnityPulse in Nigeria and built for African imaging departments.

Yes. TScribe runs in any modern browser at app.tscribe.io and as an app on Android and iOS. The same account works on all of them.

No. TScribe is a documentation productivity aid. It does not make clinical decisions, generate diagnoses or interpret images. It transcribes and structures what a qualified clinician dictates, and every report is reviewed and signed by that clinician.

The clinician, always. TScribe produces a draft with critical fields highlighted for review. You read it, edit it if needed, and sign it before it is used clinically.

No. Audio is processed in transit over an encrypted connection and deleted once the report is returned to your device. There is no table of your reports on our servers. The finished report lives with you: on your device, in your records system, or wherever you sent it. This is deliberate: the most sensitive data in the workflow never persists on our infrastructure.

All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Audio is processed and deleted. We do not build profiles from clinical content, do not sell data, and do not use patient-identifiable information to train models. We operate under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation. See Security and data handling.

No. An administrator sees how much of the shared pool was used and, if the organisation files into a records system, that a report was filed and when. Never the clinical content. Your colleagues cannot read your reports, and neither can we.

Yes, from your profile in the app. Deleting it signs you out everywhere and schedules the account for permanent deletion after 30 days. Until then you can undo it from the link in the email we send. If your account is managed by an organisation, an administrator there does it for you. Full steps: Delete your account and data.

Yes. Any account can turn on two-factor sign-in, and new devices are approved before they can dictate. “Sign out everywhere” ends every session at once.

You can dictate in English, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo or French. The report is written in English, or the output language you set. Nigerian English accents are the default, not an edge case.

Words appear on screen while you speak, so you can see what was heard and repeat a phrase if the room was loud. Captions are display only: never stored and never billed.

Freestyle (“write it up from what I say”), Full template (“fill the whole template”), Segment edit (“change or add parts, keep the rest”), Summary, and Conversation, which splits a recording into speakers. Pick one per report. Features has the detail.

Yes. Transcription is noise-tolerant for busy clinical environments, so the scanner, the corridor and the door do not end up in the report. A silence watchdog pauses the recording when nothing is being picked up, and warns you if the microphone has no signal.

Transcription needs a connection. Recording does not: recordings are saved as they happen, so if the line drops mid-study you can retry once you are back on a connection. Nothing is lost because the network was not there when you needed it.

The recording is saved as you go. A crash, a closed tab, a dead battery or a lost connection does not lose the dictation. Retry it, or listen to it again. If the microphone unplugs, the recording is finished with everything captured so far.

Yes. Say the change, for example “change largest to twelve millimetres”, and the value changes while the rest of the report stays exactly as it was. You can also edit any line in place.

Start from the library: 98 curated radiology and sonography templates across CT, X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and mammography. Change the headings, reorder or drop sections, rewrite the normal statements, and save it as yours. You can also build one from scratch for a departmental protocol. Browse the library.

That is the point of editable templates. Two radiologists reporting the same study write it differently and both are right, so TScribe writes into your structure and your phrasing rather than a house style you did not choose.

Say the study is unremarkable and the template's normal statements fill themselves. You dictate only what differs.

On your device by default. Sync is optional and per person. The browser extension can use your templates whether or not they are synced.

Yes. Headings, bold, bullet lists and numbering come through as real formatting rather than stray asterisks and dashes.

You choose, per report. One tap copies the finished report to your clipboard, formatting intact, so it pastes into any RIS, EMR or Word document. If your system runs in a browser, the UnityPulse Dictation extension lets you dictate straight into the field. Where a department wants it, TScribe files the report into the patient record over HL7 FHIR.

An administrator connects your records system once on UnityPulse, over HL7 FHIR or SMART on FHIR. After that, clinicians see one extra button. If it is not a fit for your setup, nothing breaks: copy and paste and the extension keep working exactly as before.

Into your own system. We do not keep a copy of the report or the recording. An administrator can see that a report was sent and when, which is the audit trail they need, without the clinical content being held by us.

Yes. Organisations are set up on UnityPulse, not inside TScribe. They hold a shared pool of credits with a limit per member, invite clinicians by email, group them into departments and see usage. Manage it at manage.unitypulse.io.

You keep it. Your account becomes an individual one and stops drawing on the organisation's pool. Your own templates stay where they are.

Yes. Share your link from the app and both of you earn credits. The current reward is shown in the app.
